Countless studies have shown the benefits of learning to play music with an instrument. These benefits and perhaps the allure of prestige are driving parents to have their children take music lessons. I interview Andrea – my friend from teachers’ college and a piano instructor in the GTA – as we discuss music lesson accessibility, benefits, trends, and overcoming fears.
