In this episode of Teacher Talks Toronto, Chantal Mancini breaks down regulation 274. The reg outlines the arduous path in daily supply work to permanency for teachers. Mancini is currently a PhD student in the School of Labour Studies at McMaster University. She is also the former President for the Teachers’ Unit in District 21, Hamilton-Wentworth. Her research interests include education sector collective bargaining, public sector unionism, and gender and work.
